| NCAA-B | Feb 23, 2012 Duke vs. Florida State |
Duke 0-105 at 5DIMES |
in 20h |
| Free Play from Doc's Sports. #709 Take Duke over Florida State (7 pm ESPN) The Seminoles will be going for a rare regular season sweep of Duke when they welcome them into Tallahassee on Thursday night. Florida State won the first meeting on a last second three pointer at the buzzer and it would not surprise me if Duke returns the favor on Thursday. Duke is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 road games. Florida State is just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 ACC games. I just do not believe that the Seminoles will be able to muster enough offense to keep pace with Duke. Both teams are very good defensively, but the shooting from long range by the Blue Devils will be the difference in this game. Doc's Sports has been red hot this season in college basketball and now is the time to jump on board with a veteran handicapper that has 40 years of experience in the business. We have daily, monthly and remainder of the season packages available and the time has come for you to jump on board! |

NBA | Feb 21, 2012 New Orleans Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers |
New Orleans Hornets +11-105 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
|
New Orleans is a bit undervalued right now as is evident by their four straight covers in their last four games. Indiana is the opposite as this team has struggled both straight up and ATS. The Pacers have lost five of their last seven straight up, with their only wins coming against Charlotte and New Jersey. They are 1-8 ATS in their last nine games overall and 1-7 ATS in their last eight home games. The Hornets have been a pesky team as a big underdog and they are 7-4 ATS as a dog of nine or more points while the Pacers are just 2-4 ATS with the same criteria. New Orleans is also 4-2 ATS on the road against winning teams. Both teams are strong defensively and the Hornets like to slow the game down in order to keep it close and to give them a chance to win. A low-scoring game makes the points more valuable, especially when you are getting double digits. The Hornets have also covered in four straight meetings in this series. Indiana is just not playing great ball right now and we think the Hornets will be able to keep this one within double digits on Tuesday. |

NCAA-B | Feb 21, 2012 Virginia Cavaliers vs. Virginia Tech |
Total 114½ ov-108 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
| 4 Unit Play. #740 Take Over in Virginia @ Virginia Tech (9 pm ESPN U) These two teams played a real yawner in their first meeting of the season, as Virginia went cold late in that game to lose to Virginia Tech in Charlottesville. The Hokies are coming off an overtime victory against Georgia Tech and that put forth a good offensive showing scoring 74 points for the first time this season during ACC play. Virginia is also coming off a nice offensive performance against Maryland when they scored 71 points in route to a blowout victory. Virginia Tech has gone over the posted total in 17 of their last 24 home games. The line is ready to attack since Virginia is consistently an under team and the odds now favor a string of overs for this team. | ||

NHL | Feb 21, 2012 Vancouver Canucks vs. Nashville Predators |
Vancouver Canucks -115 at BODOG |
Lost $115.0 |

4-unit Play Take #15 Vancouver Canucks over Nashville Predators (8:05pm EST) Even though the Nashville Predators have seemingly won hockey games via smoke and mirrors for the last several seasons, I'm not buying into them this year. The Predators have had an excellent record in close games this season and they don't seem to be playing with the same kind of intensity as they have in prior seasons. They've dropped four of their last six games and I wouldn't be surprised if this team goes into a prolonged tailspin during the second half of the season. The Vancouver Canucks meanwhile have been dominant lately going 10-0-3 in their last 13 games and I still don't think that this talented team has peaked yet. Both Vancouver goaltenders have been on top of their respective games as they've been in a healthy competition all season long. The road team is 7-1 in the last eight games in this series, so it's clear that home ice isn't too much of an issue for the Canucks to overcome. In fact, Vancouver is 20-9-2 on the road this season. Take the Canucks against an overrated Predators squad tonight. Best of Luck - Doc's Sports |

NHL | Feb 21, 2012 NY Rangers vs. Pittsburgh Penguins |
Pittsburgh Penguins -123 at 5DIMES |
Won $100 |
| 10-unit Play Take #4 Pittsburgh Penguins over New York Rangers (7:05pm EST) Big matchup between Atlantic Division rivals as the Pittsburgh Penguins play host to the New York Rangers tonight. However, this game is much bigger for the Penguins than it is for the Rangers. Pittsburgh has been sliding a bit as they've dropped four of seven and now find themselves all the way down to sixth place in the Eastern Conference. In my opinion this is the most talented team in the Eastern Conference and they will get their act together to make sure they finish in the upper half of the conference before the playoffs begin. They've battled a ton of injuries all season, but they've got virtually everybody back now except for Sidney Crosby, who they've learned to play without for the last couple of seasons. The Rangers, on the other hand, have a huge lead atop the Eastern Conference as they have a nine-point margin over the second place team. I don't necessarily think they're just going to coast for the rest of the season, but I do expect them to lose a bit of their edge as it's a long season and they don't have anyone challenging them yet. Pittsburgh is a much better team at home than they are on the road with a 17-8-2 mark at the Consol Energy Center. Pittsburgh is our Game of the Day as they are the better team in my opinion and are playing at home where they've dominated all season long. | ||

NCAA-B | Feb 21, 2012 Wofford vs. NC-Greensboro |
NC-Greensboro +2-106 at 5DIMES |
Lost $106.0 |
| 4 Unit Play. #746 Take Greensboro over Wofford (7 pm) The Spartans have cleanup with this low lines recently and they have lost just two games since January 6th, 2912. The Terriers are in the midst of a brutal road schedule, as this will be their fifth road game in their last six games and I do not believe they will have much left in the tank on Tuesday. The Spartans do top the league in terms of individual scoring, as Trevis Simpson has been the most prolific scorer in the Southern Conference this season. Greensboro is 12-3 ATS (1 push) in their last 16 games following an ATS loss in their previous game. Wofford is 1-4 ATS (1 push) in their last 6 games overall. | ||

NCAA-B | Feb 21, 2012 Georgetown vs. Seton Hall |
Total 122½ ov-110 at SIA |
Won $100 |
| 4 Unit Play. #718 Take Over in Georgetown @ Seton Hall (7 pm ESPN 3) This should be a very competitive game that goes down to the wire and we do expect some fouling to occur at the end to pad the points for both teams. The Pirates are on pace for an NCAA Tournament berth but will need to shot the ball better than what they did in their last outing at Cincinnati. Georgetown is averaging over 70 points per game and the Hall is not a great defense team so I expect them to easily hit that number tonight. The Hoyas have gone over the posted total in 5 of their last 7 games when they are a road favorite of 6.5 points or less. We will not worry about who wins this low odds game and just collect with the over. | ||
